Privacy Policy – VisionFit

📋 Overview

✅ This app does not collect or transmit any personal data

VisionFit ("we", "our", or "the app") is a vision rehabilitation exercise app. This Privacy Policy explains what information, if any, we handle when you use VisionFit on Android or iOS.

      All data you enter — including your name, exercise history, and settings — is stored only on your device using your device's local storage. It is never transmitted to us or any third party.
    

We have no servers, no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no analytics. We cannot see your data, and neither can anyone else.

💾 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

VisionFit stores the following information in your device's local storage (Android: SharedPreferences / iOS: NSUserDefaults). This data never leaves your device.

You can delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the app.

🚫 Data We Do Not Collect

VisionFit does not collect, store, share, or sell:

Location data (precise or approximate)
Email addresses or contact information
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Camera or microphone data
Contacts, photos, or files
Financial or payment information
Health records or medical information
Crash logs or diagnostic data sent to us
Usage analytics or behavioural tracking

We do not use any analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or crash-reporting service.

🔗 Third-Party Services

VisionFit uses the following open-source libraries. None of them collect personal data on our behalf:

¹ On first launch, Google Fonts fetches font files from fonts.googleapis.com and caches them locally. This is a standard HTTP request; no personal information is included beyond your device's IP address as part of normal internet routing. After the first launch, no further network requests are made for fonts. Google's own privacy policy applies to these requests: policies.google.com/privacy.

🔔 Local Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, VisionFit schedules a local notification on your device. These notifications are generated entirely on-device — no data is sent to any server to produce them. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.

👶 Children's Privacy

VisionFit is designed as a vision rehabilitation tool intended for general audiences. Because the app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, it is inherently safe for users of all ages, including children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, and the app contains no advertising, in-app purchases, or social features.

🔒 Data Security

Because all data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data is governed by your device's own operating system security — including screen lock, encryption at rest, and app sandboxing provided by Android and iOS.

We cannot access, retrieve, or restore your data, as it never reaches us.

✋ Your Rights

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. You can exercise full control over your data by:

Deleting all data: Uninstall the app. This removes all locally stored information permanently.
Clearing data: On Android, go to Settings → Apps → VisionFit → Storage → Clear Data.
Disabling notifications: Go to your device Settings → Notifications → VisionFit and toggle off.

📝 Changes to This Policy

If we update VisionFit in ways that affect data handling, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
